After the 2004 reunion, we talked about our group helping the camp in some way, because it is so important to us. We wanted to get involved with a project that was doable. If you used the Senior Village bathhouse at the 2004 reunion, you’ll know why we selected it’s renovation as our first Soles changing project.
· It needed it (users will know what we’re
talking about!)
· It’s an achievable project—just $15,000 to overhaul the building,
and we’ve already raised $10,000
· It will be ready in time for the 2007 reunion
· It will help everyone who uses the camp for years to come
Improvements to the bathhouse
include:
· Making the women’s area much bigger
· Installing
new shower stalls, each with a dressing area, on both men’s
and women’s sides
· New floor
· New ceiling
· New walls
· New fixtures
